Picture Of Indonesian Batik Parang

Parang batik motif known as the familiar pattern of a sword or a dagger by outsiders. Java calls flame motif, also called parang motif flames. Parang motif distinguished into two kinds:

a. Parang Rusak

broken machete itself be interpreted as a battle between humans against evil by controlling their desires so that they become noble, wise and will win.

b. Parang Barong

barong machete in antiquity only worn by the king and regarded as sacred pattern. Meaning of the king's own motives suapa be careful in keeping himself so that he will become a ruler of an honest, fair and responsible people. The following is a typical Yogyakarta batik parang:
